Mr. Vivek is an experienced Senior Manager of Rope Access at Aries Group of Companies, where he leads maintenance and inspection projects in the marine, offshore, oil, and gas industries. With a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 14 years of experience in project management, Mr. Vivek has become an expert in handling inspection and maintenance programs for a range of structures, including drilling rigs, jack-ups, platforms, marine vessels, and offshore facilities.

In his role, Mr. Vivek is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of safe and efficient rope access projects. He has successfully managed multiple projects that have played a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of marine and offshore structures. Mr. Vivek is highly regarded for his leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

An expert consultant engineer with over 25 years of experience in the field of cathodic protection, and an active member of AMPP/NACE, holding a CP Specialist certification. Currently, he is working as a Consultant Engineer for the KOC I&C team.

With a passion for sharing his knowledge and expertise, he has authored several technical papers on various corrosion-related topics for esteemed conferences such as the NACE Middle East Corrosion Conference & Exhibition and the Australian Corrosion Association Conference, among others.

Some of his notable publications include "Evaluation of Cathodic Protection System for Old In-Service Above Ground Storage Tank Bottom Plate (Soil Side)," "Cathodic Protection Approach in Upstream Processing Plants," and "Applicability of Indirect Inspection (IDI) in Congested Oilfield Areas."

In addition to his research and publications, he has extensive experience in the design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and DC & AC interference testing and mitigation of cathodic protection systems.

An experienced Mechanical Engineer with an M.B.A in Project Management. With over 27 years of experience in various areas such as Oil and Gas Refinery Construction, Manufacturing of Equipment, Ship Building and Repairs, and In-service Inspections, he has proven himself to be an expert in his field. He has numerous certifications, including seven ASNT NDT Level-3, AWS-Senior CWI, Lead Auditor in ISO-9001: QMS/ISO- 17025/ISO-14001 EMS and ISO-45001 OHSMS, and Auditor in API-Q1 & API-Q2, API-510/API-653/API-570, NACE CIP L-2and IRT NDT Level-1.

Currently working as the Unit Head of Quality Operations at the Corporate Level, he oversees Quality Assurance and Quality Control operations. He is an active member of various professional organizations such as ASNT, AWS, API, NACE-SSPC AMPP, and is a registered professional engineer at the Kuwait Society of Engineers. He is also a Life Member of AOCP-India and coordinates NACE-SSPC-AMPP Accreditation in the USA, as well as ABS/LR/DNV-GL/KR/BV /NKK Classification Society Certification for Welding and NDT.

He has been serving as the ASNT Section Chair of the Education Committee at the Kuwait Chapter since 2009. He has presented over 31 technical talks at various NDT conferences/seminars in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and India and continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of non-destructive testing/evaluation/industrial engineering. Additionally, he participates in ASNT Section Council meetings and is a member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ-U.S.A: Higher Education Technical Committee since 2021).

Siji Sidharthan holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Cochin University with 15 years of experience in Non-destructive Examination. He specializes in NDT consulting, field services, procedure validations and commercialization of novel NDT techniques. His area of interest includes metallurgy and corrosion, nonlinear ultrasonics, signal processing for advanced imaging. He holds PCN Level 3 and ASNT NDT Level 3 in UT, PAUT, TOFD, RT, MT, PT, VT. He is also an Authorized Inspector as per API 510, 570, 580, 571.
